QCDA Website Accessibility Statement

Queens County District Attorney’s Office is committed to providing outstanding service for all New Yorkers, regardless of ability. It is our goal that digital content is offered in a manner that ensures those with differing abilities are treated with respect and allows them to maintain their dignity and independence.

Our Mission in Action

Ensuring that our digital content is accessible is important to us.  This is why we follow the internationally recognized standards set forth by the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 A + AA as our guidelines.  Currently, our digital content is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA with the exceptions set forth at 28 CFR § 35.201.  Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to this accessibility standard.  Below you will find some of the actions we are undertaking as we strive towards this standard.

  • Procured the services of a digital accessibility vendor.
  • Performed digital accessibility audits of our digital assets.
  • Undergone digital accessibility remediation efforts of our digital content.
